The Ascot is perhaps our favorite lounge chair. We offer the frame in oiled White Oak, Black Walnut, White Ash and black stained Ash. All of these work very well with Danish cord and the fabric / leather selection we provide as standard. You are also welcome to provide to us your own upholstery material - one yard is required.  The backrest is lightly contoured to support your lower lumbar, its upholstery set apart by the distinctive scalloped seam only achievable through hand sewing. The seat is a  generous expanse of woven paper cord, the result of five hours of intensive work - every inch is perfect. This Danish cord can be imported in either natural or black and only looks better with time. The Ascot is a chair that does not shout at you. Rather it invites you in for a closer look.
